Sykrahmyr opened his mouth to ask another question, but was interrupted by Brekkseht. "Wait, rooms?" asked Brekkseht, raising his eyebrows. "We have rooms? How long are we going to be here...?"

Dmitri turned to look at Joukka.
"If you are unwilling to give your life for material or moral wealth... *why* did you answer the letter?" He asked. He didn't dwell for too long on the question, however, turning to Brekkseht. "You will be staying as long as it takes. Perhaps a month.... I do believe a month is long enough.... If that is all..." he said softly, turning back to the ballroom. "Please retire to your rooms...."
Jiri shifted uncomfortably, getting the message that the count was no longer in the mood to entertain the coterie. He turned to the group, smiling nervously.
"Well, let's move along, then, shall we?" He said, walking through both sets of double doors and waiting as the coterie followed. As the last set of double doors closed, Jiri began to walk again. "Wonderful count, isn't he? Wonderful count. Was his brother in power before him. Roalus, I think it was. Died of tularemia, as I recall..." he trailed off and laughed slightly. "Haven't eaten rabbits since, myself..." He said, passing the staircase leading down to the ballroom and stopping in a hall beyond. He gestured to the numerous doors.
'Enough for everyone, I daresay. If there are any more questions, I will answer them gladly. If not, I'll see you all in the morning."

Krystalide retired to the room in front of her, turning to say, "Gooooood night! I hope the bed demons don't attack you all and may we all greet eachother tomorrow!" Waltzing her way into the room.
Karmichael simply looked at her his mouth completely open, then he turned at looked to the others, "We're not related, I swear it, we are not related. Well, Good night to you all too I guess," he said slightly blushing and going to the room next to his sister's.

Joukka looked around at the others, and chose a room at the far end of the hall. "Good night to you all, I suppose..." he trailed off, then entered and closed the door behind him.

Quietly, Brekkseht chose a door and, with a murmured parting, entered. Sykrahmyr clapped Jiri on the back. "Good night, and sweet dreams!" he said cheerily, before choosing the door across from Brekkseht's and, humming a tune, entered to sleep.

Late the next morning, a man with long black hair went from door-to-door, knocking and calling out dryly: "Extr-ee, extr-ee... read all about it: sleeping in causes tuberculosis and instills homocidal tendencies," over and over again, each time stressing 'homocidal tendencies' all the more. Finally, Jiri walked up the staircase and smiled nervously.
"Victor, that's not necessary," he said, smiling weakly. Victoriel looked over indifferently.
"It's the only part of my job that I enjoy..." he said, taking both index fingers and using them to pull up the corners of his mouth. Jiri eyed the extra finger on both of Victoriel's hands and frowned.
"Lighten up, mate... all of this will be done soon, yeah?" Jiri said. Victoriel only rolled his eyes and continued to knock on doors.
"This just in-- homocidal maniac on the loose. Will kill for food," he said, blandly, before adding: "is not a cannibal."

Brekkseht lumbered out of his room, running a hand through his long dark hair. "If I had thought this place would be full of maniacs, I might have stayed home," he mumbled, gathering his hair together to tie it back.
Sykrahmyr came bounding out of his room, his movements quick and energetic. "What're we doin' this morning?" he asked Jiri cheerily. "Somethin' interesting, I 'ope?"

Krystalide came tiptoeing out of her room and looking around, noticed Skyrahmyr and smiling said, "Up to a bright start I see!" Jumping in front of him she offers her hand saying, "Krystalide Romule at your service, sir!"
Kar stumbling from his room with only his pants on looking around said, "What, where's the fire, whose being massacred, how many mongrels are there to slaughter?" Suddenly realizing what's going on, he blushes and slowly walks over to Krystalide who rudely pokes him in the stomache and laughs while saying, "Someone forgot their shirt!!"

"Always up to a bright start, m'lady," said Sykrahmyr grinning. He put his hands on his hips. "I find it keeps the pessimis's at bay. And, believe you me, they're a lot tha' needs to be kept at bay." He laughed to himself, aparently finding this funny.

Joukka slowly creaked open the door to his room. He looked out inquisitively, before going back in to grab his bow. "I heard something about tuberculosis and homicidal tendencies..." he said dryly, when he emerged from his quarters. "Nobody would happen to have *those* now, would they?" He quietly closed the door behind him.
