Joukka's a tailor??? Hmm, I guess that works. He seems a bit tailor-ish. Don't ask what that means, heh. Anyway, nobody has posted in a while (except for maybe one person...), so I might go recruit some peoples! Then this game can start. Until then... *poof*
Joukka: ... You need to stop poofing...
...
*sighs, and goes back to his tailor duties*
Oh, I just thought of something, could he be an apprentice? That might be cool... Then I could add in Raymond to be his master =D

.... Uh... boo? >_>
Poking my head in here again, still don't think I'll be doing anything with the roleplays though... I have a remarkable tendency to freeze those. Sorry.

Okay. Joukka's alternate life can be... *spins wheel of occupations* ...tailor. If you want to have more than just Joukka, you can. As many characters as you want can be in this roleplay.

The Inquisition « Result #10 on Nov 4, 2008, 11:48pm »
This roleplay takes place in an alternate universe, where all our characters live side by side. It's a costal forestland, partially mountainous, with a few large cities and many villages dotting the area. In recent times, the ruling body--a senate elected by the land owning lords of the area--has come under the influence of a religious faction that believes a number of persons in the area are being seduced by evil. The senate has allowed this faction to persue an Inquisition, much to the terror of the lower classes.
If you'd like to take part, simply post here with your characters. All characters live in the city of Serieth, at the very heart of the Inquisition. Extending beneath the city for miles are torture chambers and secret ritual chambers.
When you post characters, they will be given occupations. After we have enough characters, the game will start. When it does, your character can go about the life they've been living in this dimension as usual: they can try to stay out of the Inquistion, ally themselves with the Faction, convince the Senate to stop the madness, or, mayhap, be captured and tortured.

Kar suddenly looking around startled said, "Oh no, no, no! It's enough for a Gem Stocker to have to put up with a drunk sibbling much less a homicidal maniac! No, I don't want the prize." Journey turning around suddenly intervenes, "Come now Kar, don't be rude and claim your prize!"

Vyrlikk frowned. "We don't actually have any blacksmiths in Myrashekk," he said. "We import metal goods, when necessary, from other parts of the continent... The nearest vampirian village is about half a day's walk from here, though, and I think they have a metal worker there." He frowned and rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm not sure how we could get that sort of information on the victims. We've got a couple in the observation wing of the Hall, but they're in no state to tell us anything..."

Raymond perked up at hearing something familiar in this strange realm. He turned to face Saelh and answered, "German? I believe that word is to refer to someone who resides in Germany. It's a country in my world, supposing I *am* in a different world..." He sighed, then continued, "I've never met one myself, so I wouldn't know if they wee unpleasant. Although they *did* cause a lot of trouble for many other countries--Yes, I suppose Germans are a bit unpleasant. Don't hold me to that, though."

Saelh patted Benjamin's arm reassuringly. "Don't worry," he said. "I'm sure you'll win the German homocidal maniac next time. ...incidentally, what exactly does 'German' mean? Sounds a little unpleasant."

Janus raises a brow.
"Really...? The *biggest* scum to walk the universal realms...?" Janus asked, leaning in. He pointed at Karmichael, in disbelief. "Him...? *Truly*?" Without awaiting an answer, Janus stood and approached Karmichael. He extended his hand. "Well, con*gratulations*, sir! ... And here I thought Universal Douche would go to Moritat Grimweld! Susan! Tell him what he's won!" Janus said with pomp, turning and gesturing to Camden. Camden-- without missing a beat-- strolled from his chair and gestured to Jack.
"O-*ho*... *your* own homocidal maniac! ... German-made, fun to sing about... they don't make them like *that* anymore," said Janus as Camden continued to motion at Jack in differing poses. Jack ignored the both of them. Benjamin frowned.
"*I* wanted to win the German homocidal maniac..." he said softly, to whoever happened to be near him.

Drake frowned and began the steady tapping of his fingers once more.
"We had a similar case in Warwick-- tuberculosis outbreak. It was an airborne illness, and people were dying off without much warning. We used masks and other means of protection when depleting the illness. I have one such mask on my person, but only one. ... I'd very much like to perform an autopsy with your doctors, so I wonder... if I were to supply my mask to... say, the city's smithy.... Would he be able to make several more...?" He asked. He paused for a few seconds, as though pondering something.
"I'd also like background information on victims of the illness-- where they've been, what they've done, where they live..." he trailed off, before halting himself and straightening. "If... that's permitted, I meant to say...."

Krystalide, startled at the suggestion of her being rude and ignoring other people suddenly blushed and said, "Oh forgive me, I didn't realize, oh dear!" Turning around she frolicked towards the back where Janus and Satchet were and smiling broadly addressed them, "Hello there! Krystalide Romule at your service. I'm a gem stocker, and if you want, I have some of the best rum in my realm right here!" Pulling out her flask she offers it to Satchet and Janus. Kar, realizing what his sister was doing, sprinted back and looking at her with a face of ridicule, smiled his most polite smile managable and addressed Satchet and Janus also saying, "Oh you don't have to drink from that, it's not really safe, I imagine. Coming from my sister you know."

"Uncivilized areas? No, no. Well, I mean, I don't know. Myrashekk is all civilized areas, see, and we haven't any idea what the condition is up north," responded Vyrlikk. "It seems to have affected all sectors of the city equally, too, with the exception of the castle which, as I told you, is under quarentine. As for sypmtoms... Well, it's a strange thing. First, there is fever and aching in the joints--no one really thought anything of that at first, you see. The lymphnodes swell, and the victim gets a headache. After that, there is fear and moodswings and droswiness during the day and insomina at night. It is a slow disease--it takes months to kill the victims. However, we have no idea how it does it, because none of my doctors will do an autopsy, for fear of catching the disease."
